Our South West wedding bands are professional musicians that don’t do regular public performances. We carefully select which bands to represent and all put on a fantastic show, so you can be sure they’ll go down a treat with your guests.
Our wedding acts generally need at least forty minutes to set up, and then a little bit of time to do a sound check. Every band has a different process, but you’ll be able to find out more after your booking with your band of choice is confirmed.
All of our wedding acts and musicians provide their own equipment, but you will need to supply basic refreshments, enough space to set up, and a good source of power. If the time between your South West wedding band arriving and finishing is more than four hours, they will also need a meal and a place to freshen up.
We require a minimum deposit of 17.5%, which will be paid when your booking is completed. The remaining balance can be paid at any time leading up to your wedding and will be paid to the band (rather than to HD Events). You can discuss this with your band when your booking is confirmed.
If you’d like your wedding act to perform a particular song or your first dance, the chances are that they will be happy to do so. In most cases, our South West wedding acts accept requests, as long as they are within their repertoire.
