What are the first steps in booking a band for an event?
First things first, you’ll want to decide on what kind of band you’d like at your wedding or event. Lots of factors will influence your decision, including your budget, the location of your event, and of course, what genre of music you like or what will suit your party.
If you’re after a function band that can dip into lots of different genres and cater to many tastes, a covers group may work well for you, such as Stereo Hearts or The Hook. Or if you’d like to book a live band to help bring a theme or particular celebration to life, a group with a clear genre could be brilliant, such as jazz or soul.

How do I make an enquiry about a band?
Once you find a band that ticks your boxes, click the big purple “make an enquiry” button to register your interest with our team. You’ll be taken to our booking form to give us some information about your event, wedding day or Christmas party, and we’ll then check their availability and get back to you with a quote.
There’s no chasing up messages on social media or sending pesky follow-up emails – we’ll take care of all these niggly bits for you and make hiring a band online a completely stress-free process. We know how important this is when you’re busy planning a special event.
Can I customise the live band to fit my wedding or event?
Once you know your chosen group is available, you can decide whether you would like to customise the set-up or set list. We call this bespoke live entertainment, and it allows you to create a performance that is as unique as your wedding or event.
If, for example, you book a covers band for your wedding entertainment, you can ensure it’s a perfect fit for both you and your partner by tweaking the setlist. That means they’ll be no worries about whether your favourite songs will be played.
We take the personalisation one step further by even allowing you to tailor the set-up of the group itself. Fancy an extra singer for a super-powerful performance? Always dreamed of having a saxophonist at your special event? Just let us know.

What happens after I book a band for my event?
Once all your tweaks and customisations are finalised, all that’s left to do is confirm and pay the deposit for your live party band.
We require a minimum deposit of 17.5% and will create a contract agreement between you and the band which will cover all of the specifics. Again, any questions at this stage will be answered as quickly as possible.
Then you’re all set! You’ll receive the contact details of your chosen band so that you can plan the finer details together and get acquainted with one another well before your event, and we’ll still be on hand if you need any assistance.
The remaining balance can be paid anytime before your event.
